The Branch operates two Distribution Centres with a combined annual throughput of approximately 14 million cases. Under the direction of a supervisor/foreman, the Warehouse Worker 2 operates an electric pallet jack/order picker to assemble orders for shipment to retail and wholesale clients.

The rate of pay for this position starts at $20.33 - 23.93/hr. This is a unionized position.

Job Requirements:

  • Be at least 19 years of age
  • Be able to legally work in Canada
  • Be eligible to work up to full time hours if offered (35 hours per week)
  • Be physically fit and able to lift cases to various heights while assembling orders
  • Be able to identify sequences of numbers (essential)
  • A criminal record check and references will be required.

Please note that the positions are available for day, afternoon and night shifts. Our Warehouse operates Monday-Friday and we require a minimum of 3 shifts of availability per week.

Hours of work:

  • Day Shift - 6:30 am - 2:00 pm
  • Afternoon Shift - 2:30 pm - 10:00 pm
  • Night Shift - 10:30 pm - 6:00 am

Auxiliary positions are on-call, which means that hours of work are not guaranteed and will be subject to availability. You may or may not work a full 35 hour work week. As you work more hours, you'll gain more seniority, allowing more opportunities for more hours of work. Based on seniority, auxiliary workers become our permanent part-time or full-time employees.
